Enhance student learning as a Digital Safety Learning Resource Writer with the Simcoe County District School Board. This contract role focuses on developing resources to promote digital safety.
SCDSB is accepting applications for two 40-hour writing contracts to create curriculum-based digital safety resources for classrooms. Candidates must hold an Ontario Teacher's Certificate and demonstrate strong skills in designing engaging lessons. This role demands collaboration and a commitment to student safety in the digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and format lesson plans promoting digital safety
• Integrate Ontario curriculum standards into resource materials
• Work with approved Ministry resources to guide content
• Ensure resources are accessible for all users
• Follow instructions from the supervising administrator
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario Teacher’s Certificate
• Strong knowledge of digital safety curriculum
• Experience in educational materials development
• Effective collaboration and communication skills
• Technology skills for resource creation
