Position: External Contract Teacher Simcoe County
Location: Angus

Elevate student learning as an External Contract Teacher with the Simcoe County District School Board. This role involves effective instruction, student evaluation, and collaboration with the principal and staff.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of permanent teaching experience. You will be responsible for student progress reporting, classroom management, and instructional planning. Your skills in teaching French or NSL will also play a significant role in delivering educational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage classroom activities and student progress evaluations

• Prepare teaching outlines and plans as required

• Ensure classroom readiness before each class

• Administer tests under the Education Quality and Accountability Office Act

• Cooperate with parents during regular meetings

Requirements:

• 5+ years of permanent teaching experience with another board

• Eligibility to teach in French or NSL as needed

• Must be fluent in French and/or NSL per assignment

• Commitment to equitable teaching practices

• Ability to ensure safety in classroom activities
