Position: International Languages Instructor – Temporary Role
Become a part of the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board as an International Languages Instructor. This temporary online teaching role engages elementary students in various languages on Saturday mornings.

In this position at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Continuing Education School, you will teach languages including Russian, Tamil, and Korean to young learners. Your responsibilities entail creating lesson plans, leading activities, and ensuring a positive learning environment. You'll also coordinate events to celebrate student achievements in the languages taught.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement language education adhering to established curriculum

• Craft detailed lesson plans and engaging student activities

• Organize events like Christmas to highlight language proficiency

• Participate in necessary virtual meetings for program updates

• Create a safe and encouraging learning space for all students

Requirements:

• Must have a Grade 12 Diploma or equivalency

• Experience working with children in educational settings

• Effective organizational and communication skills

• Strong computer proficiency required

• First Aid Certification is a valuable asset
