Position: Contract Kindergarten Teacher Role
Location: Bradford West Gwillimbury

Join the Simcoe County District School Board as a Contract Kindergarten Teacher, working 3.5 days per week. Bring your passion for teaching and commitment to diversity to enhance early childhood education.

As a part-time teacher, you must have a minimum of five years' experience to qualify. Responsibilities include crafting lesson plans, supervising students, and fostering collaboration with staff and the community. You will also engage with parents to discuss student performance and participate in essential evaluations and assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct classroom activities and manage behavior

• Collaborate on instructional strategies with faculty

• Ensure compliance with safety and teaching standards

• Maintain orderly report card documentation

• Assist in student assessments and maintain communication

Requirements:

• Five years of teaching experience with a different board

• Must self-identify with an equity-deserving group

• Complete a Vulnerable Sector Check upon hiring

• Fulfill mandatory training requirements

• Commitment to professional development in education
