1. This LTO position covers two periods with focused instruction and community engagement.
In this Semester 1 LTO role, you will be responsible for effective teaching, class management, and evaluation of student progress. Collaborating with other educators and the principal, you'll ensure safety and consistency in your instructional methods. Preparation of lesson plans and participation in community cooperation are essential aspects of this position, as well as maintaining communication with parents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver effective instruction in Health and Physical Education
• Manage classroom activities and student behavior
• Prepare and submit teaching plans and outlines
• Collaborate with colleagues and administration
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings and community engagement
Requirements:
• Valid teaching certificate in Ontario
• Experience teaching Health and Physical Education
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to diversity and equity in education
• Understanding of safety procedures in physical education
