Salary
LTO Salary Range effective September 1, 2025 is $59,128 - $119,974 (pro-rated if less than full time).

Responsibilities
Be responsible for effective instruction, training, and evaluation of pupils in the subjects assigned to the teacher and for the management of the class or classes, reporting to the principal on pupil progress upon request.Carry out the supervisory duties and instructional program assigned by the principal and provide required information.Cooperate fully with board‑appointed teachers and the principal in all matters related to instruction.Be present in the classroom or teaching area and ensure it is ready for pupils at least fifteen minutes before morning classes and five minutes before afternoon classes, unless otherwise assigned by the principal.Assist the principal in maintaining close co‑operation with the community.Prepare teaching plans and outlines as required and submit them to the principal or supervisory officer upon request.Ensure all reasonable safety procedures are carried out in courses and activities for which the teacher is responsible.Cooperate with the principal and other teachers to establish and maintain consistent disciplinary practices.Ensure report cards are fully and properly completed and processed in accordance with the guide documents (English and French).
