Empower Simcoe is seeking a dedicated Early Learning Facilitator for a full-time contract position. Join us to support children ages 0-6 and their families through innovative programming and collaboration.
In this role, you will help operate the EarlyON Child and Family Centre Program while developing engaging, play-based activities. Working alongside parents and caregivers, you will facilitate programs that not only adhere to the Ministry of Education's guidelines but also foster a sense of belonging and curiosity among children. Excellent communication skills and experience with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare play-oriented program plans to enhance child development
• Foster inclusion, well-being, and engagement in all activities
• Assist children in developing independence in their routines
• Facilitate discussions on child development with families
• Provide targeted programs for specific populations in need
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Minimum of two years’ experience with families and children
• Registered member of the College of Early Childhood Educators
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to conduct assessments and evaluations
