Position: Full-Time Teacher at Simcoe County School Board
Location: Innisfil

Elevate education as a full-time Contract External Teacher with the Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB). Embrace teaching in a dynamic classroom environment while meeting board-specific duties.

The SCDSB is looking for a dedicated educator to provide high-quality instruction throughout the academic year. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of permanent contract teaching experience and a commitment to equity and inclusion in the classroom. Teachers will plan lessons, assess student progress, and maintain classroom readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver instruction for assigned subjects

• Manage classroom setup prior to classes

• Conduct supervisory duties and instructional programs

• Collaborate with principal and colleagues on teaching practices

• Prepare teaching plans as per principal’s request

Requirements:

• Minimum five years of permanent teaching experience

• Self-identification with an equity-deserving group

• Compliance with Article 9.02 if teaching French or NSL

• Ability to execute safety procedures during classes

• Participation in parent meetings and graduation activities
