Location: Wasaga Beach

Teach and inspire young minds as an LTO Grade 2 Teacher with the Simcoe County District School Board, led by Principal Angela Cook. Responsibilities include effective student engagement and curriculum delivery.

The SCDSB is looking for a creative and energetic full-time Grade 2 Teacher. Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of permanent contract teaching experience with another educational board. This role enhances student learning through integrating diverse teaching strategies and maintaining strong communication with parents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate engaging Grade 2 lessons aligned with educational standards

• Monitor student progress and adapt instructional methods accordingly

• Work closely with administrators and fellow educators

• Ensure classroom readiness and student safety

• Prepare and attend meetings with parents and guardians

Requirements:

• Confirmed 5 or more years of teaching experience

• Dedication to equity and student inclusion

• Completion of reference checks required

• Submit to Vulnerable Sector Check before hiring

• Experience with diverse classroom dynamics
