The Simcoe County District School Board is seeking a Designated Early Childhood Educator to implement a full-day learning program alongside the Kindergarten Teacher. This role requires a commitment to children's cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development, while ensuring a supportive educational environment. Applicants should bring experience in early learning and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement developmental programs for children

• Collaborate with the Kindergarten Teacher daily

• Communicate sensitively and courteously with families

• Follow policies and procedures accurately

• Manage stress and handle emergency situations thoughtfully

Requirements:

• Two-year Early Childhood Education Diploma required

• Proof of CECE membership or intent to obtain

• At least six months of experience in early learning contexts

• Able to manage age-appropriate activities

• Basic computer and organizational skills needed
