Multidisciplinary Early Childhood Educator

Location: Midland

Make a difference at CLH Developmental Support Services as an Early Childhood Educator focused on Autism. Develop group-based programs that inspire and educate kids with Autism diagnoses.

This role involves reporting to the Ontario Autism Program Supervisor and working within a multidisciplinary team. You will create a nurturing group-based learning environment incorporating ABA techniques and developmental screeners. Your collaboration with families and caregivers will help set individualized goals, ensuring tailored educational experiences for each child.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a team to design a personalized learning program

• Maintain a clean and organized learning environment daily

• Work with Behavior Consultants on intervention programs

• Document children’s progress and social interactions

• Assist with transitional planning to support school readiness

Requirements:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and ECE membership

• Experience working with children diagnosed with ASD

• Familiarity with assessments and developmental screening tools

• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

• Current “G” driver’s license with vehicle access
