Simcoe County Early Childhood Educator

Join the Simcoe County District School Board as a Designated Early Childhood Educator. This temporary role focuses on enriching children’s growth through a full-day learning program.

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will work closely with the Kindergarten Teacher to facilitate an engaging and supportive environment for children. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing their cognitive, physical, and emotional development. Strong abilities in organization and communication are essential for this challenging role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to design educational programs

• Support children's social and emotional growth effectively

• Follow established guidelines and regulations

• Address difficult situations with appropriate responses

• Maintain organized documentation and meet deadlines

Requirements:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognized institution

• Current CECE membership or intentions to register

• Minimum of six months experience in relevant settings

• Knowledge of full-day kindergarten programs

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
