Early Childhood Educator

Position: Empower Simcoe Early Childhood Educator
Become an Early Childhood Educator with Empower Simcoe, where you will support young children and families in Simcoe County. This position involves full-time contract work focused on innovative programming for children aged 0-6.

Your role as an Early Learning Facilitator will emphasize collaborative, play-based learning while fostering inclusive environments for growth. By working closely with parents, you will deliver engaging educational workshops and facilitate critical conversations on child development and well-being. Prior experience with children on the Autism Spectrum is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop interactive program plans promoting inquiry and play

• Create an inclusive atmosphere that fosters belonging

• Help children gain independence in daily routines

• Discuss child development topics with caregivers

• Complete necessary assessments and documentation

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education

• At least two years of relevant experience

• Member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Familiarity with educational policies and practices
