Join the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury as a Cooking Program Instructor. Teach cooking skills to participants of all ages while creating an inclusive and engaging atmosphere.

This position requires a motivated individual to lead cooking classes for ages 3 and up. You will demonstrate cooking techniques, kitchen safety, and maintain a welcoming environment. Your responsibilities include planning and supervising classes, engaging with participants, and ensuring a safe space for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and teach cooking classes for diverse age groups

• Demonstrate essential cooking techniques and kitchen safety

• Engage and assist participants in program activities

• Ensure safety and inclusiveness during sessions

• Complete required program reporting and statistics

Requirements:

• Experience teaching cooking or baking to various ages

• Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification

• Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills

• Availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:00 – 10:00pm

• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Screening upon hire
