Full-Time Educational Assistant for ASD

This permanent, full-time position requires a commitment to the ASD County Class, engaging in supportive interactions with students. As an Educational Assistant, you will help with essential skills including toileting, lifting, and positioning. The role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to create an inclusive, safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with daily living and academic skills

• Implement behavior management plans and support activities

• Provide lifting, toileting, and mobility assistance as needed

• Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) effectively

• Track student data and reinforce positive behavior techniques

Requirements:

• Relevant degree or two-year diploma in human services

• Training in Behavior Management Systems (BMS)

• Experience with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Commitment to a two-year position
