TEMPORARY EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT POSITION

An Educational Assistant is responsible to the school Principal to provide medical, physical and safety/supervision support to students with intensive special education needs in elementary and secondary schools.

Eligibility:

To be eligible, applicants must hold a secondary school diploma plus completion of a post-secondary education program in one of the following:

Education Support Worker
Educational Assistant Certificate
Early Childhood Educator
Social Service Worker
Developmental Services Worker
Child and Youth Worker
Educational Assistant Apprenticeship Program
or equivalent education and/or experience

Temporary Vacancy:

One (1) temporary part-time (0.20 FTE) Educational Assistant required.

Scheduling is Wednesday.

Commencing as soon as possible and ending June 23, 2027 or earlier if circumstances change or incumbent returns.
