Upper Canada Child Care is hiring Assistant Educators for multiple locations in Barrie. Applicants must demonstrate their ability to work in a split-shift model for before and after school programs. This role involves a commitment to professional growth while delivering high-quality educational experiences to children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support educational programs consistent with Ministry of Education requirements
• Engage children in learning and provide necessary care
• Attend professional development and training sessions
• Manage daily logs and program documentation
• Foster communication with parents regarding their children
Requirements:
• ECE diploma or degree from a recognized institution
• Police Vulnerable Sector Check prior to employment
• Current registration with the College of ECEs
• Certification in CPR-C and First Aid
• Experience with inquiry-based education
