This LTO teaching position encompasses one period of dance instruction, aimed at enhancing student performance and participation. Qualified candidates will demonstrate effective teaching strategies and contribute positively to classroom dynamics, ensuring dignity and respect for all students while adhering to board guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and implement effective dance lesson plans

• Supervise and evaluate student progress consistently

• Ensure a safe and welcoming classroom environment

• Collaborate with the principal on community building

• Fulfill other roles as assigned, including report card preparation

Requirements:

• Valid teaching certification in Ontario

• Experience with dance education preferred

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Commitment to equity and inclusion in the classroom

• Required Vulnerable Sector Check prior to start date
