Temporary Educational Assistant Position

Candidates with a relevant university degree or two-year diploma in human services are preferred. The responsibilities include providing support with daily tasks like toileting and feeding, and implementing behavior management strategies. The position entails physical demands and requires the ability to rotate across various groups at the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students in developing life and academic skills

• Engage in toileting, lifting, and feeding as needed

• Implement and follow behavior management plans

• Work in a collaborative environment with other professionals

• Organize and track relevant student data

Requirements:

• Education background in human services or related fields

• Mandatory BMS training before starting

• Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder is desired

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

• Physical capability to perform demanding tasks
