This long-term occasional teaching position serves applicants qualified in Intermediate and Senior basic qualifications, Health and Physical Education, and Science – General. The Board will consider applicants with at least two required qualifications when fully qualified applicants are unavailable. Staffing follows the applicable Collective Agreement and Ontario Regulation 298 requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Health and Physical Education in the assignment
Teach Science – General in the assignment
Complete the long-term occasional teaching assignment
Support the Board’s school-based educational responsibilities
Requirements:
Good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
Intermediate and Senior basic qualifications
Intermediate/Senior Health and Physical Education qualifications
Intermediate/Senior Science – General qualifications
Availability without an overlapping SMCDSB LTO assignment
