Teach French as a Second Language full time at Willow Landing Elementary School with J/I and FSL qualifications. Support instruction, evaluation, and classroom management.
The Simcoe County District School Board is seeking a long-term occasional teacher for a 1.0 FTE assignment. The role requires J/I and FSL qualifications, effective instruction, pupil evaluation, class management, and collaboration with the principal and teachers. Duties follow Ontario teacher requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver effective instruction in assigned subjects
- Evaluate pupil progress and report when requested
- Manage classes and maintain consistent discipline
- Prepare required teaching plans and outlines
- Complete report cards accurately and properly
- J/I qualifications
- FSL qualifications
- Availability for a 1.0 FTE assignment
- Permission to contact two professional references
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check before employment
