Teach Grade 3 one day weekly with the Simcoe County District School Board, focusing on instruction, evaluation, and classroom management.
This long-term occasional teaching assignment reports to Principal David Brownlee. The teacher provides effective instruction, evaluates pupil progress, prepares teaching plans, and maintains a ready learning environment. The assignment represents 0.2 FTE, or one day per week.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide effective Grade 3 instruction, training, and evaluation
- Manage assigned classes and report pupil progress
- Prepare required teaching plans and outlines
- Maintain consistent disciplinary practices with school staff
- Participate in parent or guardian meetings
- Qualified for the assigned Grade 3 teaching duties
- Ability to complete required application questions
- Permission to contact two professional references
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check before employment
- Completion of mandatory Board training modules
Support Grade 3 pupils through effective instruction, evaluation, planning, and classroom management in this 0.2 FTE assignment.
