Position: Assistant Project Coordinator/Co-op Student (Civil Construction)
Location: Bradford West Gwillimbury

Overview

Term 8 Month Term Preferred. As an Assistant Project Coordinator, you will support our Project Managers & Superintendents in delivering Civil projects. The focus of the role is to maintain contract documentation, support estimating, and assist with the preparation of budgets and schedules. We work on contracts such as Design Build, Plan and Spec, and Construction Management. A vehicle is required to visit project sites, as locations are not easily accessible by public transit.

The purpose of the Assistant Project Coordinator in supporting the project team is to help ensure profitability, conformance to contract documents, high-quality project completion, and a safe job site. You will be involved in the following:

  • Update and maintain purchase order logs, shop drawing and submittal logs, and plan logs.
  • Gain an understanding of how to select suppliers and sub-trades and obtain quotations.
  • Assist with and/or clarify scope of work with sub-trades and suppliers.
  • Ensure a continuous focus on site safety in accordance with regulatory requirements and our Corporate Health and Safety Policy.
  • Attend site meetings and assist in the completion of project deficiencies.
  • Track and manage inventory of supplies to ensure on-time delivery and traceability.
Qualifications
  • A full-time student enrolled in a related post-secondary program (e.g., Architectural Technology, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering).
  • Or be a new graduate from a related program who completed studies in 2026.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel is an asset.

Pay Range: $21 - $26 per hour (depending on previous experience).

Site-based role in Bradford, Ontario.
