Roadway Construction Contract Administrator

This is a newly created role at AECOM.

This is a full time role expected to begin as soon as possible.

Responsibilities
  • Assists the Project Management team in reviewing and implementing RFIs and change orders.
  • Review project costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with specifications.
  • Work with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate.
  • Attend meetings and report on project tasks as needed.
  • Monitor design changes, contractor and sub-contractor activities and progress.
Qualifications
  • University Degree in Civil Engineering + 4 years experience on MTO projects OR College Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology + 6 years experience on MTO projects.
  • OACETT Registration Road Construction Contract Administrator (RCCA) required OR PEng in Ontario.
  • Must have completed successfully Ministry of Transportation T131 Advanced Claims Dispute Resolution training.
  • Ideally 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Familiar with CMS.
  • Proven ability and experience in successfully administering highway/structure construction contracts.
