Elevate your career as a Class IV Wastewater Operator with the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury. Engage in the maintenance and operation of a state-of-the-art Water Pollution Control Plant and Wastewater Collection System.

Reporting to the Wastewater Treatment Plant Supervisor, you will be vital to the daily running and upkeep of advanced wastewater facilities. Key responsibilities include lab testing, sewer inspections, and interacting professionally with diverse stakeholders. This position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to inclusive practices while ensuring compliance with environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class IV WPCP in line with ECA regulations

• Maintain the Class III Wastewater Collection System and pumping stations

• Conduct daily lab tests and microscopic analyses

• Inspect and repair wastewater treatment plants and sewer systems

• Coordinate with customers, developers, and contractors

Requirements:

• MOE Wastewater Treatment and Collection OIT license

• Diploma/degree in Environmental Technology preferred

• Commitment to advancing wastewater licenses

• Experience with Vactor truck and CCTV inspections

• Valid Class “G” driver's license; DZ preferred
