Group Summary The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent vision systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.
Job Responsibilities Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000
Provide Root Cause Analysis and leadership in the resolution of customer concerns
Communicate quality related changes to Engineering Departments so corrective actions can be applied to future similar circumstances
Participate on and provide support for troubleshooting to ensure a focus on high priority customer concerns
Provide support for APQP activity related to new product launches
Participate in the development of shop floor procedures to ensure that defined corrective actions are permanent
Provide support to Quality Department leadership to allow for increased focus on problem resolution
Through cross-functional work with all other departments, obtain improvements for in-house rejections, customer concerns, cost of quality and run ratio measurables
Benchmark Techform quality practices against those of other automotive suppliers with the goal of continuous improvement
Take leadership role in responding to customer complaints in an appropriate and timely manner (8-D, 7-D, 5-P)
Ensure that all environmental requirements are identified and addressed when performing duties
Ensure that all safety requirements are being carried out when performing duties
Comply with defined Business Management and Environmental Management Systems requirements
Provide support for the continuous improvement initiatives within Techform
Provide support in the attainment of Techform's operating system goals as outlined by the key graphs
Carry out all duties focusing on the goal of internal and external customer satisfaction
Other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor or designate
Education and Experience A post-secondary degree as a Mechanical Engineer or equivalent is required
Superior organizational skills are required
Superior written and verbal communication skills are required
A thorough knowledge of generally accepted quality control procedures is required
