We are currently hiring full‑time permanent positions in Barrie, Bracebridge, Collingwood, and Guelph across Land Development, Municipal, Structural, and Water & Wastewater departments. Join us and embark on a fulfilling career with Tatham Engineering.
Responsibilities- Assist with the design and implementation of coastal, water resources, municipal infrastructure or land development projects including shoreline protection structures, storm and sanitary sewers, stormwater management systems and infrastructure, water mains, site servicing, lot grading, urban roads and parking lots
- Prepare design calculations, report writing, project coordination and management
- Prepare submissions and applications for required approvals as well as cost estimates, tender documents, specifications and construction contract documents
- Conduct construction inspection and assist with contract administration, including preparation of requests for quotation, contract change orders and proper invoices
- Interact with client and external parties as required for project needs
Position Requirements
- Degree in an engineering program
- Meet the requirements of PEO as a candidate for becoming a professional engineer in the Province of Ontario and be committed to following the PEO Competency Based Assessment program
- Working towards P.Eng. designation is preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant engineering experience (co‑op experience included)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent technical and analytical skills
- Enthusiasm to work in a team structure and a willingness to help and collaborate with others
- Working knowledge of appropriate design and analysis software
- Full knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines and standards
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Expected Hiring Range for This Position: $67,000 to $85,000. Compensation will reflect the unique skills and experience each candidate brings to the role. The posted range serves as a general guideline, and final offers may vary.
