Job Title and Focus

Senior Geoscientist or Environmental Engineer, leading and delivering complex, multidisciplinary environmental projects in the Greater Golden Horseshoe (GGH) and Ontario. Lead and contribute to projects such as Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), Excess Soils Management, and brownfield redevelopment. Manage full project lifecycle, from proposal development to technical delivery, quality assurance, and client relationship management. Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring best practices, risk management, and mentoring of junior professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary environmental and engineering projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Act as a senior technical reference, overseeing methodologies and conducting final reviews of deliverables.
  • Support business development activities, including proposal preparation, client relationship management, and strategic positioning.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Identify and manage project risks while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering technical excellence and professional development.
Qualifications

Education :
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, earth science, or environmental engineering (required); graduate degree (M.Sc., M.A.Sc., M.Env.) is an asset.

Professional Membership :
Registered with Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO) or Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) (required).

Experience : 10+ years of experience in environmental site investigations.

Regulatory Knowledge :
Strong understanding of municipal, provincial, and federal environmental regulations.

Skills :

  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities in multidisciplinary environments.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Commitment to quality, technical rigor, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Integrity, team spirit and a commitment to excellence.

Other Requirements :

  • Valid Canadian driver’s license (required).
  • French language skills (an asset).
