Drive effective maintenance strategies as a Maintenance and Facilities Project Manager in Midhurst, Ontario. Ensure compliance and oversee significant projects for various non-profit housing entities.
This role, available for a temporary period of up to 18 months, requires technical oversight and leadership in maintaining the operational integrity of county facilities. Partnering with the Senior Maintenance & Facilities Engineer, you'll define and implement improvements and direct capital projects while ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations. Your expertise will impact the quality and functionality of housing resources in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and manage maintenance systems
• Assist in tender document preparation and contractor selection
• Inspect ongoing work for compliance
• Advise on housing safety and security standards
• Coordinate with staff and boards for effective operations
Requirements:
• Architecture or Engineering degree required
• At least two years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with building codes and maintenance practices
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
