Position: SBS Drivetec Product Engineer Role
Elevate your engineering career as a Product Engineer with SBS Drivetec in Barrie, Ontario. Deliver on automotive product development and validation for leading OEM and Tier 1 customers.

The Product Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and launch automotive products that meet stringent specifications and quality standards. Your problem-solving abilities and experience with automotive product processes will lead successful project execution and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing project timelines and communicating effectively across teams nationally and globally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review RFQ packages and support project planning

• Conduct engineering calculations for automotive products

• Assist in creating 3D models and 2D drawings

• Maintain clear communication with local and global teams

• Participate in APQP activities with customers

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in product design for automotive

• Diploma/degree in Mechatronic, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering

• Familiarity with GD&T and ISO GPS

• Experience in automotive quality frameworks

• Proven skills in continuous improvement methodologies
