In this full-time role, you will utilize your engineering skills and programming expertise in PLC languages like CODESYS and Danfoss. Engage with various protocols and design vehicle sensor systems that meet rigorous safety standards. This position emphasizes hands-on experience and innovative design to enhance operational efficiency in our specialized field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Program mobile equipment using PLC languages like CODESYS
• Optimize control systems performance using engineering best practices
• Implement CAN protocols for vehicle system communication
• Design sensor instrumentation per ISO-13849 safety compliance
• Evaluate and integrate devices from suppliers like Danfoss and ABB
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechatronics or control systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solid Works, or similar design software
• Strong communication skills in English; other languages are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science is an asset
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license is preferred
