As part of the team at Aecon, you will assist in processing, analyzing, and integrating LiDAR and survey data for accurate project modeling. With your academic background in Geomatics or similar fields, and 2-5 years of related experience, you will support multidisciplinary teams by delivering precise models and ensuring data integrity.

Your role includes documentation and workflow maintenance for seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process LiDAR data using UAV, mobile, and static systems

• Clean and manipulate 3D datasets for optimal accuracy

• Extract features based on topographic survey standards

• Integrate survey data into CAD and BIM tools

• Maintain QA/QC for spatial outputs and integrity checks

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Geomatics, Surveying, or GIS

• 2-5 years experience in point cloud processing

• Familiarity with tools like Trimble Business Center

• Solid understanding of geospatial workflows

• Valid driver’s license
