Become a key player at RTX as an Automation Engineering Designer, focused on developing cutting-edge automation solutions for manufacturing. Work closely with engineering teams to enhance production efficiency and quality.
In this onsite role, you will report to the Manager of Electrical Engineering at RTX, driving automation initiatives and designing innovative production solutions. Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and operations to implement, verify, and deploy automation systems that meet safety certifications and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive automation projects to reduce manual tasks
• Design and implement equipment solutions for production
• Provide documentation for operation and maintenance
• Coordinate with Digital Transformation Partners on data collection
• Collaborate with outside partners for system implementation
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 0-4 years of industry experience
• Experience in creating electrical schematics
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
• Highly motivated attitude with a willingness to learn
