This role within the Air & Noise Group demands strong technical expertise in air quality assessments and environmental regulations. The successful candidate will prepare Air Quality Impact Assessments, oversee data collection, and utilize dispersion modeling tools. Collaborating across disciplines, you’ll engage in a high-performing technical team ensuring compliance and quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare Air Quality Impact Assessments for clients
• Collect and oversee field data gathering efforts
• Perform technical calculations and justify outcomes
• Develop dispersion and noise models using AERMOD
• Provide expert peer reviews for air quality studies
Requirements:
• Degree in Chemistry or related field
• Minimum 6 years in air quality consulting
• Knowledge of O. Reg. 419/05 and its applications
• Advanced Excel skills with strong mathematical aptitude
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Contribute to environmental excellence and regulatory compliance in air quality management at Burnside.
