Civil Engineering Technologist

Join EXP as a Civil Engineering Technologist in Barrie or New Liskeard, ON, where you will lead municipal infrastructure design and civil drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Mentor junior staff while ensuring compliance with Ontario standards.

At EXP, you will play a critical role with 3-4 years of experience in consulting or municipal engineering. Your expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and drafting best practices will guide project delivery. This position offers the opportunity to perform QA/QC reviews, site inspections, and contribute to tender packages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead CAD and drafting strategies for projects

• Mentor junior and intermediate technologists

• Perform QA/QC reviews of technical documents

• Produce designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D

• Conduct constructability reviews and value engineering

Requirements:

• 3-4 years’ experience in municipal engineering

• Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.)

• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D

• Experience with MS Office and MS Project

• Familiarity with Ontario design standards
