Drive innovation at Napoleon as a Lab Technician II in Barrie. Execute product testing, validation, and data analysis with a focus on HVAC, Grills, and Hearth products.
As a permanent team member, you will independently lead product validation and development testing, ensuring high-quality test data and sound engineering recommendations. This role requires proficiency in various testing standards and problem-solving skills to support cross-functional product development. Collaboration with engineering teams to improve product designs is key.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute performance and safety testing autonomously
• Analyze test data and report findings clearly
• Troubleshoot test setups and instrumentation issues
• Collaborate on product development and reviews
• Support prototype fabrication and design improvements
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in Engineering Technology
• 3-7 years of relevant testing or development experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for data analysis
• Familiarity with CAD software and lab data systems
• Strong understanding of testing techniques and engineering principles
