Civil Engineering Technologist at EXP

EXP seeks a Civil Engineering Technologist (CET) to lead design efforts in Barrie or New Liskeard, ON. Bring your AutoCAD Civil 3D expertise and enhance municipal infrastructure projects while mentoring junior staff.

This role requires a minimum of 3-4 years in a related engineering field, capable of undertaking drafting and design responsibilities with a keen eye for detail. You will conduct QA/QC reviews, develop cost estimates, and ensure all designs comply with local regulations while supporting client consultations and project management tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead drafting and technical coordination efforts

• Delegate and review outputs from junior engineers

• Ensure compliance with Ontario construction standards

• Prepare cost estimates for design specifications

• Assist in creating public consultation materials

Requirements:

• 3-4 years experience in civil engineering

• C.E.T. Certification with OACETT membership

• Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D

• Familiarity with MTO and municipal standards

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects
