Position: Fluid Power Designer at MacLean Engineering
Join Mac Lean Engineering as a Fluid Power Designer focused on critical hydraulic systems in Barrie, Ontario. Use your design skills to enhance equipment for the mining industry.

In this full-time role as an Intermediate to Senior Fluid Power / Hydraulic Designer, you will be integral to creating and improving hydraulic and mechanical systems. Specific responsibilities involve collaborating with experienced designers, leading projects, and supporting manufacturing processes. We value open-mindedness and on-the-job learning in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design hydraulic and pneumatic systems for mobile equipment

• Detail drawings and bills of materials for production

• Work directly with production on builds and modifications

• Liaise with different departments to ensure alignment

• Mentor junior designers under the guidance of the Product Manager

Requirements:

• Relevant Engineering qualification from a recognized institution

• 5+ years’ experience in fluid power systems

• Solid Works and AutoCAD proficiency

• Understanding of manufacturing processes preferred

• Strong communication skills both orally and in writing
