We are seeking a Noise Engineer, Project Manager to fill an existing vacancy in our Air & Noise, Decarbonization & Net Zero department.
Experience with air quality engineering will be considered an asset. The successful candidate will be ideally based out of our Barrie office or Guelph office. This position is responsible for the design, assessment and modeling of projects as well as providing technical direction and assisting with business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Design/drafting using appropriate software
Prepare noise and vibration calculations, report writing, project coordination and management
Client support and management
Conduct noise modeling using CadnaA or STAMPSON
Conduct site/field visits to review and confirm existing conditions, or complete noise measurements
Compile and analyze data
Confirm regulatory requirements for the project location and determine appropriate mitigation measures
Prepare submissions and applications for required approvals
Key
Position Requirements :
P.Eng. in the province of Ontario, registered with PEO
Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in the consulting environment
A degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Engineering Physics or a related engineering discipline
Strong, relevant design and project management experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with air quality engineering, emission calculation and AERMOD is considered an asset
Experience with GHG quantification and net-zero pathway studies is considered an asset

Expected Hiring Range for This Position
$85,000 to $135,000
Compensation will reflect the unique skills and experience each candidate brings to the role. The posted range serves as a general guideline, and final offers may vary.
