Mechanical Engineering – Manufacturing Expert

Mac Lean Engineering in Barrie, Ontario is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering professional for manufacturing tasks. Focus on improving design and production processes using Solid Works in a challenging environment.

Your role will be critical in enhancing the manufacturing structure, designing jigs, and implementing stringent quality measures. As a pivotal team member, you'll analyze and solve production issues while facilitating communication between engineering and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop manufacturing strategies to reduce defects

• Design and detail drawings for manufacturability

• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with standards

• Evaluate manufacturability for various product lines

• Manage project tasks as assigned by leadership

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience with Solid Works or AutoCAD

• Experience in heavy equipment manufacturing preferred

• Knowledge of ISO and CWB standards

• Minimum High School Diploma required

• Trade certification advantageous
