Step into the role of an Automation Engineering Designer with Raytheon ELCAN, located in Midland, Ontario. You'll be instrumental in developing automation solutions for component manufacturing and ensuring high quality through innovative systems.
In this onsite role, you will report to the Manager of Electrical Engineering, working closely with manufacturing teams. Your primary focus will be on implementing automation to enhance efficiency and reduce manual tasks. You'll handle everything from design to production, including documentation and safety certifications while assessing return on investment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive automation initiatives to increase throughput
• Design and implement production automation equipment
• Provide documentation for operation and maintenance
• Coordinate with Digital Transformation Partners
• Leverage external partners for speedy implementation
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
• 0-4 years of industry experience
• Ability to create electrical schematics
• Strong multitasking skills in dynamic settings
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
