Design rail and transit infrastructure with WSP using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Micro Station, or Revit across Canada. Develop precise 2D and 3D models.
As a Designer, Linear Infrastructure Design, Rail & Transit, you will support major infrastructure projects with multidisciplinary engineers and specialists. Your work includes linear infrastructure, cable containment, railway communications, and technical deliverables. You will help design safe, efficient, and modern transit systems through coordinated drawing packages, model development, and technical reviews. The position requires relevant infrastructure design experience and strong collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop 2D and 3D linear infrastructure designs
- Model CCTV, SCADA, signals, lighting, and rail assets
- Prepare coordinated drawings for client submissions
- Support design, construction, and commissioning phases
- Review inputs, standards, and site conditions
- Engineering technology diploma or degree
- Minimum four years of relevant infrastructure design experience
- CAD or CADD experience in rail or transit
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Micro Station, or Revit
- Knowledge of railway standards and document control
