Manufacturing Engineering Co-op Student

Support automotive manufacturing engineering at Toyotetsu Canada Inc. with CAD documentation, analytical skills, and a balanced plant-floor and office schedule.

As an Engineering Co-op Student, you will report to Engineering Management and support welding or stamping departments. You will provide technical and administrative assistance while contributing to plant layouts, engineering databases, cycle-time analysis, and continuous improvement activities. The Winter term starts January 2027.

• Review and update plant layout documents
• Create and update mechanical drawings
• Verify and adjust weld condition documents
• Maintain engineering databases and back up CAD files
• Perform cycle-time analysis and assist Kaizen activities

• Current Mechanical or Electrical Engineering enrollment
• Relevant co-op or summer exposure, preferably manufacturing
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor experience considered an asset
• Own transportation and intermediate or advanced computer skills
