AutoCAD Civil 3D expertise anchors this Senior Civil Technologist opportunity, with approximately 50% design and 50% field work.
The role supports Community Development projects involving grading, site servicing, stormwater management, roads, and municipal infrastructure. You will create surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, pipe networks, and quantities while interpreting survey information, technical reports, codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Produce civil engineering designs for community infrastructure projects
- Build Civil 3D drawings and models with project quantities
- Complete grading, drainage, sewer capacity, and cut/fill analyses
- Interpret survey data and technical requirements for design decisions
- Complete QA/QC reviews and support CAD standards
- Experienced Senior Civil Designer / Field Technologist background
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Understanding of surfaces, alignments, profiles, and pipe networks
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary project teams
- Ability to guide junior designers and technicians
Use Civil 3D modeling, infrastructure design, technical analysis, and quality reviews to support complex community development work.
