Mechanical automation design and FEA define this engineering position, combining Solid Works, Ansys, Inventor, and detailed equipment development.
Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, the Mechanical Engineer works independently or with professional designers. The work covers complex automation equipment, component sizing, pneumatic circuits, simulations, and client-facing design communication.
Key Responsibilities:- Design large, technically complex automation equipment
- Perform FEA using Ansys and Inventor
- Size actuators, motors, and servos
- Design pneumatic circuits and calculations
- Coordinate designers, contractors, clients, and suppliers
- Bachelor's engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft products, AutoCAD, Solid Works, Ansys, and Inventor
- Ability to perform FEA and size components
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Automation experience preferred
