Position: Responsible Gambling Education Coordinator

Promote responsible gaming as a part-time Education and Prevention Coordinator with the Responsible Gambling Council. Engage with casino patrons to foster informed gambling choices.

In this role, the Responsible Gambling Council (RGC) seeks a motivated part-time coordinator. You will interact with players, provide education on gambling in casinos, and deliver key awareness programs. Building relationships with gaming staff is essential for effective community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote awareness of the Play Smart Centre Program

• Assist players with questions and direct them to resources

• Teach patrons about gambling in casino environments

• Plan educational initiatives for safer play habits

• Maintain productive relationships with casino staff

Requirements:

• Education or experience in social work, health promotion, or related

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Flexibility for weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts

• Compassionate in sensitive conversations

• G Class Driver’s License and readiness for local travel
