You might be exactly who we’re looking for! You will be reporting to the Director of Finance Consolidation and finance information and play a key role in the organization by building financial models for decision-making, analyzing variances, and contributing to the annual budgeting process.
This position is ideally based in Barrie, Ontario but is also offered as 100% remote under certain conditions.

- Remote/On-site: Hybrid
- Work Schedule: Flexible, 4.5-day work week (Fridays off at noon, year-round if desired!)

- Employment Status: Permanent
- Perform full-cycle accounting, including month-end entries and balance sheet reconciliations for corporate and US entities
- Prepare bank reconciliations, subledger to GL reconciliations, and monitor accruals and prepaid expenses for corporate and US entities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and explain variances vs. budget and prior year
- Collaborate with operations to build annual budgets and forecasts
- Prepare monthly consolidation for the group
- Produce financial KPIs and dashboards related to company performance
- Maintain the documentation and calculation for transfer pricing strategy
- Maintain and implement statutory policies
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Provide ad hoc analyses and reporting as needed
- Support the implementation of ERP systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- CPA designation (completed or in progress)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or a similar financial role
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High level of initiative, autonomy, and versatility
- Comfortable preparing or analyzing reports for the USA
