Senior Cost Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing inventory accounting, month-end close activities, and cost of goods sold (COGS) reporting within the ERP system. This role ensures accurate inventory valuation, reconciliation, and financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards and internal controls.

• Analyze and report on production, inventory, and overhead costs
• Manage month- and year-end close related to inventory and cost of sales
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies and analyze product margins
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and pricing strategies (

• Design and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing and financial performance
• Create ad hoc financial reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for leadership.
• Calculate and validate monthly sales commissions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve cost-related issues
• Contribute to process improvements and internal control enhancements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–8 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing
• Experience with Smartsheets and/or BI tools are assets
• CPA/CMA designation is a plus
• Knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and process mapping
