Mortgage Relationship Manager

Build mortgage relationships with BMO through referral development, customer advocacy, and knowledgeable guidance across home financing applications and processing.

This Mortgage Specialist role centers on managing referral networks that create new mortgage business and originations. You will engage customers, real estate contacts, and BMO colleagues while identifying banking product needs. Success requires relationship management, negotiation, marketing support, and sound regulatory judgment.

• Expand networks through partnerships, referrals, and originations
• Establish BMO’s community presence through industry events
• Act as customer advocate throughout application processing
• Hand off customers and finalize mortgage documentation
• Record opportunity and transaction updates in internal systems

• Three to five years of relevant experience typically required
• Knowledge of personal lending and relationship sales management
• Strong understanding of mortgage markets and real estate
• Functional knowledge of banking, investments, and commercial lending
• In-depth collaboration, teamwork, and communication skills
