Reporting to the Manager of Community Planning, you will oversee comprehensive land use planning functions. With a focus on coordinating development proposals, zoning by-law updates, and public consultations, you'll ensure compliance with municipal policies.

Your role will include preparing reports and presentations for Council and managing key policy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage policy projects and land use development proposals

• Coordinate compliance with zoning by-law and Planning Act

• Update zoning by-laws and prepare secondary plans

• Negotiate development agreements with stakeholders

• Prepare evidence for Ontario Land Tribunal hearings

Requirements:

• Degree in Planning or related discipline

• 5-7 years municipal planning experience preferred

• RPP designation or commitment to obtain

• In-depth knowledge of planning legislation

• Strong communication skills for team collaboration
